The Ere Koro 1 of Koro Chiefdom in Kaduna State, Mr Yohanna Akaito (JP), has condoles the governor of kaduna state, Nasir Ahmed El-Rufa’i, his immediate family, brothers and sisters, and the entire Zazzau Emirate Council over the death of the Emir of ZAzzau Alhaji Dr Shehu Idris CFR, one of the country’s most influential traditional leaders who passed away on Sunday at the age of 84 .
His Marjesty Mr Yohanna Akaito (JP), who announced the condolence while speaking with newsmen also said that, ” with the passing of Alhaji Dr Shehu Idris, the Chairman of the kaduna state Council of traditional rulers and Chiefdoms, Nigeria has lost one of its trustworthy and longest reigning traditional monarchs whose contributions to the promotion of unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians cannot be forgotten for years to come, especially within the cycle of traditional institutions, most importantly in the northern part of the country, and the nation at large .
He pray that God in his infinite marcy will forgive his shot comings and reward him abundantly with highest honour in the hereafter .
He said as traditional rulers they learned alot from him, especially in the area of promoting peaceful coexistence among their people, and assured that, they would utilised it to unite their and developed their community .
” The Emir of Zazzau who ascended the throne in 1975, had used his long reign to serve his people deligiently with dedication and identified with their aspirations at all times,” he pointed out .
