The Zannan Gwandu, and Chairman of APC Elders Forum in Kebbi State Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro has extolled the virtues of the state governor, Atiku Bagudu towards promoting peace and unity in the state.
Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro stated this in a telephone interview with Journalists in Kaduna.
Hukuma Zauro noted that inview of his commitment to the upliftment of Kebbi State governor Atiku Bagudu since assumption of office had initiated various department programmes and policies.
He said notable Among them is the juvenation of the agricultural, health and education sectors.
According to Zannan Gwandu security and unity of the people had equally received a boost under governor Bagudu, stressing that despite the current situation in the country, Kebbi State is relatively peaceful.
He charged the people of Kebbi State to continue to rally round their governor to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
The Zannan Gwandu Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro identified the All Progressive Congress APC in the state as a progressive party indeed which changed the fortunes of the people.
Commenting on the selected Vice Presidential of the All Progressive Congress APC, Distinguished Senator Kashim Shettima, the Kebbi State APC Chairman of APC Elders Forum, described him as a competent person for the job.
On the choice Alhaji U.T. as gubernatorial Candidate for APC in kebbi state, the traditional title holder said it was properly done with wider consultation.
On the teething on going nation wide Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU strike, he appealed to federal government and the union to shift ground for successful dialogue to end to the problem once and for all for continuous academic activities in the institutions.
