As the Federal government commenced oil drilling in Kolmali Bauchi and Gombe areas of the North, citizens from the region have been urged to unite and support government to achieve the objective of the project.

The All Progressive Congress APC Senatorial candidate for Southern Kaduna, Suvr. Bulus Audu made the call while responding to questions from media representatives.

The candidate who was full of praises of President Muhammadu Buhar’s administration for the gigantic project, said it required effective support, prayers and co-operation of the entire people of the North to achieve success.

Survr. Bulus Audu also advised government to ensure effective security and surveillance in the oil drilling area for safety.

On his aspiration to be elected Senator from Zone Three of Kaduna State, he said he had been making contacts with various stakeholders and concerned citizens to achieve the desired result.

He pointed out that if elected his top most priority was to see to the transformation of various sectors of the economy in the area through legislation at the Senate.

Commenting on the credibility of their governorship candidate Senator Uba Sani, Survr. Bulus Audu described him as competent person and equal to the task.

According to him the APC candidate is a man wisdom and proven integrity capable of changing the fortunes of the state if supported.

He advised him to be fair to all if elected as the governor, as well as give attention to security of lives and properties of people of Kaduna State.

The Zone Three Senatorial candidate of APC further advised Uba Sani to endeavour to unite the entire people irrespective of their religious, ethnic and sectional differences, saying it is an effective channel for moving the state forward.
