EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF AN NGO EXTOLS THE VIRTUES OF THE LATE CHIEF OF MOROA TAGWAI SAMBO

The Executive Director Hope for the Handicapped Persons Foundation HHPF, Bishop Monday Yakunat has commiserated with the family of the late Chief of Moroa Mallam Tagwai Sambo and the entire people of Kaduna State.

He gave the condolence in a telephone interview with Journalists in Kaduna.

Bishop Yakunat described the late Chief of Moroa as a leader of wisdom and proven integrity who ruled his subjects with fairness and fear of God.

The Executive Director of the Hope for the Handicapped Persons Foundation who described the demise of Mallam Tagwai Sambo as a great loss not only to his immediate family and Kaduna State, urged Nigerians to emulate his exemplary live for societal development.

Bishop Monday Yakunat also identified the late Paramount ruler of Moroa Chiefdom as committed and peace promoter during his life time.

He added that the late Tagwai Sambo has during his time encouraged religious, ethnic and political tolerance among his people, irrespective of their differences.

According to Bishop Yakunat the revered traditional ruler was equally abled to unite his subjects, as well as encouraged activities of non governmental organizations in Moroa Chiefdom which enhanced peace and tolerance in the area.

The Executive Director further explained that all ethnic groups and adherents of different religion were also treated by the late ruler with compassion and without discrimination.

On the Hope for the Handicapped Persons Foundation, Bishop Monday Yakunat said the NGO is still waxing stronger, especially towards supporting persons with special needs.

He stated that very soon the foundation would organize an event tagged ” celebrating the celebrities” to encourage societal peace and progress.
