MUSLIM PARENTS URGED TO IMBIBE THE CULTURE OF SUPPORTING THEIR CHILDREN TO MEMORIZE QUR’AN

Sultan of sokoto ALHAJI Muhammad saad Abubakar the third has stressed the need for Muslims to imbibe the culture of supporting their children to memorize Qur’an so as to contribute their quota in development of the society.

The sultan stated this during the Graduation ceremony of Nurut Tilawah international schools students Zaria.

Alhaji Muhammad saad Abubakar explained that if Muslims community encouraged the children to memorize the Qur’an it will reduce social vices and immoral attitude in the society.

He charged the graduating students to be put what they have acquired into practice and advance their studies.

The sultan reiterated the sultanate council commitment to supporting the propagation of Islamic knowledge and Quranic memorization.

During his speech the emir of zazzau and Chairman schools committee patron MAL Ahmed NUHU Bamalli expressed satisfaction with the commitment of school management in educating the society.

In an addressee the chairman Nurut Tilawah international schools sheikh Tahir Umar expressed satisfaction his satisfaction for the performance of the graduates who memorized the Qur’an.

Also the director of school Nuradeen umar Tahir said about seventy two students both male and female graduated and memorized holy Qur’an.

The director pointed out that currently the school will partner with prestigious Al-Azhar university Cairo Egypt to enrolled some of the graduating students.

The sultan of sokoto ALHAJI Muhammad saad Abubakar donated fifty thousand naira to each of the 72 graduating students.
