FED FIRE SERVICE ZONE B, ZARIA AREA COMMAND IS TO COLLABORATE WITH STAKEHOLDERS TO ENSURE SAFETY OF LIVES AND PROPERTY IN THE AREA

Federal Fire Service, Zone B, Zaria Area Command has said the command is committed to collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure safety of lives and property from fire disaster and other unforseen emergency.

The Zaria area commanding officer CSF Aminu Amadu state this shortly after the Sallah festival in Zaria .

Area Commanding officer, CSF Aminu Amadu, explained that the service has deployed Ambulance and crew to provide the Basic Life Support Ambulance Service and prepare against any eventuality at scene of thrilling display.

He said, the team were able to rescue three casualties, who fell down from a horse and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in , Zaria.

CSF Aminu Amadu pointed out that the second victim Abdullahi Dahiru who is a staff of NSCDC sustained hand cut injury while giving the necessary first aid treatment in the ambulance and was discharge immediately.

He added that the third victim of local gunshot injury in person of Ibrahim Amadu was also rushed to a nearby hospital, Gambo Sawaba General Hospital at Kofan Gayan, Zaria .

One of the victims, Ibrahim Amadu narrated that the incident happened as a result of one person from the Yan bindingan Sarki who attempted to display a gunshot, missed the aim thereby mistakenly injured him at his finger.

CSF. Aminu assured the emirate and community that Federal Fire Service under the the leadership of the Controller General of Fire Engr. Jaji Olola Abdulganiyu said the command would continue to partner to ensure more support from this service of humanity to minimise the risk of fire outbreak and other related emergency.
